Review
LightScribe System Software (LSS) facilitates good operation of the LightScribe system. It comes with a handy control panel that allows the user to customize the LightScribe settings and even keep track of the system’s information. The user can double click on the LightScribe icon placed in the system tray on the right lower corner of the Windows desktop screen.
The LightScribe System Software has been designed to ensure reliable and optimal operation of the LightScribe Labeling system, as well the other things. This software package is not a standalone product and installs the LightScribe System Software on a new system or updates an older version of the same.
Hence, this is basically a limited edition support universal version or an add-on software to help in better operation of the existing LightScribe system; however, the developers state that the program has not been fully tested by their hardware provider, and it also requires LightScribe enabled drive, media, and labeling software.
This can serve as an alternative for those users that are unable to obtain the latest updated version, but does not serve any specific purpose on its own. |
